5k NextHomies LinkedInBY NEXTHOME | AUGUST 26, 2021

Pleasanton, CA — NextHome is thrilled to announce that the franchise has hit 5,000 franchise members, affectionately known as NextHomies! The mere seven-year-old franchise has had a fast-growing trajectory since its inception in 2014 and currently has 530+ offices across 48 states.

NextHome is a progressive real estate franchise founded to stake a change in the industry with consumer-focused branding, technology, and marketing.

While growth is good, NextHome prides itself on growing with the right people. Each oncoming NextHome office has been meticulously reviewed to ensure that they will be a good fit for the culture of the franchise.

“We are very comfortable saying no. Being selective is how we ensure that we’re continuing to grow with the right people,” said Charis Moreno, Vice President of Sales at NextHome, Inc. “Our organization is overflowing with incredible owners, brokers, and agents. It’s a truly diverse network with 61% of our offices having women in an ownership role and 34% of our offices having minorities in an ownership role. Add to this an average per agent production of 6.2 units annually, plus an over 70% adoption rate of our products and tools, and you can easily see that our members bring their A-game every day.”

NextHome has crafted a unique culture that not only makes the franchise a great organization to be a part of, but also retains membership. NextHomies are not only passionate about real estate but also about serving their communities.

The NextHome “Humans Over Houses” slogan, movement, mentality, was coined at the 2019 NextHome Conference in Las Vegas and has quickly been adopted by NextHomies across the country. Many members take this commitment to heart: starting non-profit organizations to help feed their neighbors in need, hosting fundraisers for local foster homes and animal shelters, and so much more. We believe clients are more than “leads” or “consumers” – and NextHomies are so much more than REALTORS®.

“Our goal is to leverage technology in a way that will free up more screen time to create more face time for our NextHomies and do what they do best – connect with more buyers and sellers,” said Charis.

NextHome would like to extend a huge thank you to our members, our NextHomies, all 5,000 of them. We’re truly grateful to them for taking a chance on joining our franchise, on committing to our ethos of putting humans over houses by helping your communities, and most importantly, on helping people find their next home.

NextHome Continues to Be Named on Inc. 5000 List

Inc_5000_Press_Release_1-790x500BY NEXTHOME | AUGUST 17, 2021

Pleasanton, CA — Inc. magazine revealed its annual Inc. 5000 list this week, and NextHome is among the nation’s fastest-growing private companies for the third year in a row. The seven-year-old company ranked No. 4025. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses.

Not only have the companies on the 2021 Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but this year’s list also proved especially resilient and flexible given 2020’s unprecedented challenges. Among the 5,000, the average median three-year growth rate soared to 543 percent, and median revenue reached $11.1 million. Together, those companies added more than 610,000 jobs over the past three years.

“One of the greatest joys of being a franchisor is witnessing the transformation of someone’s business,” said James Dwiggins, Chief Executive Officer of NextHome. “Once someone gives NextHome a chance and joins our franchise, we’re all in, supporting them in every way possible. That level of support is what has helped us continually grow over the years. Currently, we have 525 franchise locations with nearly 5,000 members across 48 states. By the end of this year, we project closing more than 35,000 transactions worth $10.2 billion in volume.”

Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, region, and other criteria, can be found at www.inc.com/inc5000.

“The 2021 Inc. 5000 list feels like one of the most important rosters of companies ever compiled,” said Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc. “Building one of the fastest-growing companies in America in any year is a remarkable achievement. Building one in the crisis we’ve lived through is just plain amazing. This kind of accomplishment comes with hard work, smart pivots, great leadership, and the help of a whole lot of people.”

NextHome would like to extend a huge thank you to our members, our NextHomies. We’re truly grateful to them for taking a chance on joining our franchise, on committing to our ethos of putting humans over houses by helping your communities, and most importantly, on helping people find their next home.

NextHome Named on Franchise Business Review’s 2021 Culture100 List

FBR_TopCulture_PressRelease-790x500BY NEXTHOME | JULY 21, 2021

Pleasanton, CA — July 21, 2021 — NextHome was recently recognized on Franchise Business Review’s second annual “Culture100” list. The list recognizes the top 100 franchise brands in a 2021 report on the Best Franchise Cultures.

NextHome, Inc. is an independently owned national franchisor with a focus on changing the way consumers work with local agents and shop for real estate online. The NextHome franchise, founded in 2014, has 510+ offices and nearly 5,000 members across 48 states. The company closes over 29,500 transactions annually worth over $8.3B in volume.

Franchise Business Review, a franchise market research firm that performs independent surveys of franchisee satisfaction, provides the only rankings of franchises based solely on actual franchisee satisfaction and performance. Franchise Business Review publishes its rankings of top franchises in its annual Guide to Today’s Top Franchises, as well as in special interest reports throughout the year that identify the top franchises in specific sectors.

NextHome was among 224 franchise brands, representing nearly 25,000 franchise owners, that participated in Franchise Business Review’s research on the best franchise cultures. Franchisees were surveyed on 33 benchmark questions about their experience and satisfaction regarding critical areas of their franchise systems. The brands that were selected received the highest overall ratings based on 12 questions specifically focused on leadership, core values, whether they enjoy being part of the organization, and would they recommend their franchise to others.

“The impact of the pandemic this past year on small businesses has put the spotlight on franchise culture more than ever,” said Michelle Rowan, President and COO of Franchise Business Review. “Our research into hundreds of brands really shows which ones held up the best when rated by their franchise owners. The franchise companies that have the honor of being named to our Culture100 list are clearly among the best of the best franchise opportunities.”

The NextHome Culture has been a differentiator for the franchise since its inception in 2014. Their Humans Over Houses motto and mindset puts people first in an industry that so commonly forgets about the human connection in a tech-driven world.

“Being recognized on the Culture100 list is directly attributed to all NextHome members who’ve helped curate what our franchise has come to be, and continues to grow to become,” said Keith Robinson, NextHome’s Chief Strategy Officer. “However, to ensure a cohesive culture, there must be a consistent underlying philosophy tying everyone together. For NextHome, it’s that we all strive to put Humans Over Houses. We know that so long as we don’t lose focus on the humans who buy and sell houses, and the amazing agents who help them through the process, everything will be fine. ”

Earlier this year, NextHome was also named No. 1 on Franchise Business Review’s list of the Top Franchises for 2021 in owner satisfaction, as well as a Top Franchise for Women.
